Karen Tripp MS LMFT- Cancer Speaker Topics

Cancer: The Unwelcomed Guest
Cancer comes uninvited into our relationships leaving, frustration, exhaustion and fear in its wake. No relationship is immune. The power of the word “cancer” forces people to react based on their personal perceptions and experiences. Whether drawing closer to the survivor or subtly pulling away, everyone reacts. But please understand this: cancer’s unwelcome entrance does not give it the right to dominate relationships. Let Karen Tripp show both survivors and caregivers alike how to have the power to choose what role cancer will play in their relationship.

God is Bigger Than Your Cancer

Cancer and Prayer
You’ve prayed for healing but you’re still sick. You’ve prayed for the pain to be removed but it increases. You believe that Jesus is your salvation but in the midst of your cancer, it can be hard to see what He’s doing. Prayers not answered as you wanted can hurt – leaving the temptation to pray less instead of more. But amazingly, cancer can take a prayer life from seeing through the eyes of man to yearning to see through the eyes of God. As you draw closer to God, He will draw closer to you.  Karen will dive into this difficult subject with scripture and honestly and teaching ways to re-energize your prayer life in difficult times.
