A Prayer- Holidays and Cancer Caregivers

Dear Jesus- It’s just too much.

Cancer has brought a giant wave of responsibilities, worries and frustrations into my life.  As a caregiver, I have tried to help my loved one not let the cancer get in the way of their life and yet it does.

Now that the holidays are here, there are more things to be done, more people to see and less energy to give.  I am so tired Jesus.  Please grant me

Rest for my body.

Peace for my worries.

Assistance for my tasks.

You are my Wonderful Counselor so please build a great wall of unity between me and my loved one with cancer.  Join us so that through the holidays we may grow closer to each other and closer to You.

Thank you Jesus.  I eagerly look forward to see the joys you bring.  I know they will out shine any dark thought cancer can send.

AMEN

I have to work a full time job, I am na RN night shift worker. My spouse is full time care disabled and I rarely get consecutive hours of sleep. My exhaustion is getting the better part of me.Anger and frustration have become more of a daily challenge. PLease advise. I am lost.
