BOOK OF THE WEEK: The Ambition by Lee Strobel

Imagine a novel that combines the intrigue of Chicago politics, the danger of the mob and the moral dilemmas of leading a mega church and you have the components for a dynamic novel IF the right person writes the book.  Lee Strobel is definitely the right person because he hit this one out of the park with his first novel The Ambition.
I love reading a well written plot with interesting elements that could only be described by someone who “knows”.  Strobel’s background in Chicago journalism and mega church development certainly shines through but he leaves the reader so connected to the characters you can’t help but wonder could that be me?
Enjoy this read but prepare yourself to discover a few things about yourself in the process.

About Karen Tripp

Beyond being a Christian Counselor and the President of Cancer Companions, Karen loves to read (she's a great reader) and loves to sing (she's a bad singer) in her home near St Louis, MO.
