BOOK REVIEW OF THE WEEK: Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen

I just found Jane Austen about 7-8 years ago.  I began to read everything she ever wrote and was quite “put out” that she only wrote 5 books and then died a couple hundred years ago.

Her romance novels tell tales of transformation but not change through lightening bolt but change through sandpaper.  Her characters face challenges and must look within themselves for the will to change themselves to overcome their circumstances.  Pride and Prejudice is by far my favorite but all her books are worth a read.  If you’d rather not struggle with the old english, try Keira Knightley’s movie version.  It’s so fun.  Here’s the link to the trailer.
