BOOK REVIEW OF THE WEEK: The Reluctant Prophet by Nancy Rue

So what happens when a 40 something gal feels God nudge her to buy a Harley?  She’s never wanted a motorcycle, never seen herself on a motor cycle and yet God seems to have a different idea.  That’s the story of Allison Chamberlain in The Reluctant Prophet in Nancy Rue’s new novel about what God can do with your life if you let Him.

Everything about buying a Harley seems like a bad idea and every one in Allison’s life agrees except God  What if God led you to someplace you had no desire or interest in going?  What if you found yourself in the dark places of society and you were expected to be the light for someone else but you were clueless how?  Can God really make paths for us that can be so confusing?  You bet!  Allison finds friends and enemies on her adventure but mostly she finds God’s strength, compassion and forgiveness.

It’s s fun read that will have you loving the quirky characters and sitting on the edge of your seat in suspense.  Don’t miss all the Lord wants to tell you from reading The Reluctant Prophet.
