BOOK REVIEW OF THE WEEK: The Wonder Worker by Susan Howatch

The Wonder Worker is a story about a gifted man that hungers to serve the Lord with His gift but goes astray.  It’s so human and so real.  It takes an honest look at the clergy and their need for redemption like everybody else.  An honest love story and a subtle mystery filled with good doses of psycho-babble for nerdy therapist like me.  The first in a series of three where the need for redemption becomes more and more profound.  I love redemtion stories!

About Karen Tripp

Beyond being a Christian Counselor and the President of Cancer Companions, Karen loves to read (she's a great reader) and loves to sing (she's a bad singer) in her home near St Louis, MO. Cancer has personally touched Karen's personal life through her dad - a 23 year colon cancer survivor. Impacting lives for Christ through her speaking, writing and counseling fills Karen with a passion which infuses every task she approaches. (except matching socks. Karen hates matching socks.)
