Cancer Companion Kim Eroh “Turns the Town Teal” in Statesville!

kim and teal ribbonPicture walking through downtown where every lamp post sports a bright Teal ribbon with just to increase awareness of the symptoms of ovarian cancer.  It’s a lovely, festive and -most important- effective way to inform women of the symptoms they need to watch for with ovarian cancer. Kim, an ovarian cancer survivor, decided during her cancer treatment to “make a difference” for other women coping with ovarian cancer.  This led to her organization Hope Wings. (http://hopeswing.org/)  There’s no question that preventing cancer by raising women’s awareness of ovarian cancer symptoms is an important thing to Kim.  Thanks Kim for all you do!

“Turn the Town Teal ” is a national awareness campaign that you can learn more about at www.turnthetownsteal.org .
