Cancer and the Church: Impacting Lives Through the Hearts of Volunteers

Is it safe to say that every church has cancer on its prayer list?  What if your church could touch lives of those coping with cancer within and beyond your church walls?  Cancer needs are more complex to minister to because of typical short hospital stays yet long term treatment.  Karen Tripp MS LMFT will offer strategies for using volunteers to develop successful cancer ministries to impact your church and community through the Cancer Companions Program

For anyone interested in impacting cancer in their church and community (pastors, parish nurses, lay members, Chaplains, Hospice workers, Stephen Ministers, care teams, cancer survivors and caregivers).

Please register by Tuesday, October 18th.  Limited Seating so register early.

Menu Choices: (please arrive with a meal decision to be given at registration – This will help keep the Lunch and Learn on time)

Choice 1: 1/2 Sandwich and Soup – 1⁄2 Rotisserie turkey sandwich with a crock of soup

Choice 2: Hawaiian Stacker – Teriyaki glazed chicken breast, provolone cheese, grilled pineapple atop a bed of fresh grilled vegetables

Choice 3: Cuban – Sliced pork, ham, provolone, jalapeno bacon, banana peppers and Dijon mayo on a toasted ciabatta hoagie. Served with French fries
