NEWSFLASH! Do You Want to be a Peer Counselor and Touch the Lives of Cancer Families?

Cancer Companions trains caring individuals- like you- to meet with people coping with cancer to offer support as Christian peer counselors.   Maybe you have a cancer story of how cancer impacted you or a loved one and you want to help others cope.  Or maybe you do not have a cancer story at all, you just feel led to lift up cancer families.   Let Cancer Companions give you the skills and materials you need to make an impact for the Lord.
The next Cancer Companions Peer Counselor Training will be held on Saturday, September 8th from 8:30-4:30 in St Louis.   At the end of the training you will be trained to meet one-to-one with a cancer family member or to run a Christian Cancer Support Group.  The cost is $60.00 and lunch is included.

About Karen Tripp

Beyond being a Christian Counselor and the President of Cancer Companions, Karen loves to read (she's a great reader) and loves to sing (she's a bad singer) in her home near St Louis, MO. Cancer has personally touched Karen's personal life through her dad - a 23 year colon cancer survivor. Impacting lives for Christ through her speaking, writing and counseling fills Karen with a passion which infuses every task she approaches. (except matching socks. Karen hates matching socks.)
