No Longer Slaves by Jonathan and Melissa Hesler

Fear.  From the first moment you hear the doctor say “It’s cancer” fear enters into your cancer journey.  This begins the pattern for most Christians to continually turn your fears over to Christ.

In this precious song, the Hesler’s have it right- by hanging unto the knowledge that you are a Child of God, you can be washed, again and again, so that you are no longer a slave to fear.

You unravel me, with a melody
You surround me with a song
Of deliverance, from my enemies
Till all my fears are gone

I’m no longer a slave to fear
I am a child of God

About Karen Tripp

Beyond being a Christian Counselor and the President of Cancer Companions, Karen loves to read (she's a great reader) and loves to sing (she's a bad singer) in her home near St Louis, MO. Cancer has personally touched Karen's personal life through her dad - a 23 year colon cancer survivor. Impacting lives for Christ through her speaking, writing and counseling fills Karen with a passion which infuses every task she approaches. (except matching socks. Karen hates matching socks.)
