SONG OF THE WEEK: Children of God by Third Day

For me the Christian walk is often this balancing act between  letting my Christian humility drift into shame on one side and pride on the other.  I am so unworthy to be a Child of God and yet so blessed to be one as well.   Can I still be humble and rejoice the blessing of being a child of God?

Third Day’s Children of God is a wonderful testimony to the truth that despite doing nothing to deserve it– we should celebrate the fact that believers are the Children of God!   Grace is a gift… tear the wrapping, toss the bow and enjoy it!  Can I hear a Hallelujah?! Look at the highlighted verse below and say the words aloud…you’ll see- it feels good.
Children of God, sing your song and rejoice
For the love that He has given us all
Children of God, by the blood of His Son
We have been redeemed and we can be called
Children of God
Children of God

A mystery is revealed to the universe
The Father above has proven His love
Now we are free from the judgment that we deserve
And so we are called the children of God

We are the saints
We are the children
We’ve been redeemed
We’ve been forgiven
We are the sons and daughters of our God

Have you seen the video?  Great visuals of adopted kids who needed a loving dad as much as you and me…
