SONG OF THE WEEK: Everlasting God by Lincoln Brewster

Everlasting God is definitely a “roll down the windows and bank the steering wheel with your palm” kind of song.  No question, some of the most difficult times in my Christian walk have been when I have been waiting for the Lord.  “What’s next?”  “When will things get better?”  “Have you heard my prayers?”  It’s at times like that I need to remember who God is.   Lincoln Brewster has taken the difficult place of waiting on the Lord and turned it into a testimony of His omnipotence.

Strength will rise as we wait upon the Lord
We will wait upon the Lord
We will wait upon the Lord

Our God, You reign forever
Our hope, our Strong Deliverer
You are the everlasting God
The everlasting God
You do not faint
You won’t grow weary

Are the words familiar?  Isaiah 40 never sounded so good!!! Enjoy the video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gT0UodmNhKk
