SONG OF THE WEEK: Forever and Ever Etc. by David Crowder Band

Sometimes talking about God should just be fun and exciting and down right silly.  Forever and Ever Etc by David Crowder Band wonderfully captures the joy of being the object of God’s unbelievable love for us.  It’s fast paced, high charged and the video made me laugh out loud.  Check out the lyrics:

I think I’m on the brink of something large
Maybe like the breaking of the dawn
Maybe like a match being lit
Or the sinking of a ship, letting go gives a better grip

I’m finding everything I’ll ever need
By giving up gaining everything
Falling for You for eternity
Right here at Your feet
Where I wanna be
I am Yours

Love so indelible to know
You’re never gonna go, you’re never gonna go
Love too unthinkable and true
For anyone but You, for anyone but You

The video is an animated feature of the band battling a bunch of squirrels.  Nothing says God’s love like a giant, rampaging squirrel robot.  Have some fun and check it out…  http://vimeo.com/6816870
