SONG OF THE WEEK: Front Porch Looking In by Lonestar

You don’t have to like country to like this song.  It’s just a feel good and sing along type of song.  In their song “Front Porch Looking In,” Lonestar does a great job telling such a simple truth about the treasures we have waiting for us right inside our homes.

The only ground I ever owned was sticking to my shoes
Now I look at my front porch and this panoramic view
I can sit and watch the fields fill up
With rays of glowing sun that’s where it was hung
My blessings are in front of me
It’s not about the land
I’ll never beat the view
From my front porch looking in

There’s a carrot top who can barely walk
With a sippy cup of milk
A little blue eyed blonde with shoes on wrong
‘Cause she likes to dress herself
And the most beautiful girl holding both of them
And the view I love the most
Is my front porch looking in, yeah

Take the time to listen to the song and then stand on your front porch and look in…

What are the blessings you see from your front porch looking in?
