SONG OF THE WEEK: Hope Now by Addison Road

When folks get into conversations about what makes faith in Jesus different than other faiths, I come back to hope.  For me it seems that people without Jesus are placing their hope in their abilities, their goodness, their loved ones or just in themselves.

All of those things have failed me at some time in my life.  I’m glad I have a rock to place my faith in…Jesus Christ.  This song Hope Now by Addison Road touches my heart in a very raw and honest way.  Here’s what is says about hope:

Everything rides on hope now
Everything rides on faith somehow
When the world has broken me down
Your love sets me free
