SONG OF THE WEEK: Someone Worth Dying For by Mikeschair

Mikeschair totally hits home with Someone Worth Dying For!   Yes, I would say that the hardest thing to believe on this planet is that I am someone worth dying for.  Think about that literally. Imagine someone coming up to you and offering to die in your place.   Can you imagine saying “Sure, that’d be great.”  I can’t.  And yet Mikeschair sing the thoughts in my mind so clearly and so passionately…”I wanna believe”.  Imagine living each day filled with the wonder of knowing you are so cherished and so adored that Christ freely died for you.

You might be the wife, waiting up at night
You might be the man, struggling to provide
Feeling like it’s hopeless
Maybe you’re the son, who chose a broken road
Maybe you’re the girl, thinking you’ll end up alone
Praying God can you hear me?
Oh God are you listening?

Am I more than flesh and bone?
Am I really something beautiful?
Yeah I wanna believe, I wanna believe that
I’m not just some wandering soul
That you don’t see and you don’t know
Yeah I wanna believe, Jesus help me believe that I
Am someone worth dying for

I am struck by the rich tones and the heart felt emotions that shine in this song.  This is another song that really touches my heart..
