SONG OF THE WEEK: The Great Adventure by Steven Curtis Chapman

Picture me, 1998, Southern California – in my used silver impala flying down the 57 freeway to the beach with kids bouncing in their car seats while singing at the top of my lungs to Steven Curtis Chapman’s The Great Adventure.  Love this song!   It song can make a trip to the grocery store feel exciting.

This song celebrates the exciting adventure God has in store for the Christian walk.  It’s too easy to forget that our walk is meant to be a joyous adventure, if we’d only step up and step out.

Love the video- Steven Curtis Chapman is so YOUNG!  Fun to watch.  Crank this song in the car when you’re feeling drained.  It’ll pick you up but beware of the temptation to exceed the speed limit. (yes, I speak from experience.)
