What if a high school kid found the key to fighting cancer?

15 Year Old Cancer Super Hero: Jack Andraka

Have you ever heard about a really smart kid and thought “They’re so smart, they should go find the cure to cancer”?

I have. Well guess what? It seems like we might have discovered just such a kid. His name is Jack Andraka and at age 15 he decided to look for an efficient and cost effective way to test for pancreatic cancer.

Why did he think he could do such a thing? Youth and the power to believe. Do you want to be inspired and encouraged? Watch this Ted Talk of him sharing how the loss of a beloved uncle, a boring high school biology class and a lot of fortitude could lead to a discovery that will undoubtedly save lives.
